29th May 2009 - Due to the effects of the Credit Crunch My Mortgages Ltd has ceased trading. As our business was primarily involed in successfully obtaining mortgages for our customers it has been very difficult to continue as banks and building societies are very reluctant to lend. When they do lend they usually require substantial deposits and normally charge comparitively high rates.
It has been our advice, of late, to most customers to remain with their existing lenders. Because we only get paid when a new mortgage is arranged by us, this has resulted in very reduced income, although our expenses have remained. In addition to expenses, the regulations involve a lot of time and effort. As well as all of this, many lenders now operate "dual pricing" whereby they will hold better deals for customers who go to them direct than those that are referred by Independent Mortgage Brokers. My Mortgages Ltd has always been proud of offering the best possible products and advice to our customers, unfortunately the banks have made it impossible for us to continue doing this as a business.

4th June 2008 - Due to no internet capabilities in the office due to unbelieveably bad service from BT, Jeremy is enjoying hospitality from Quo Vasis Restaurant in Formby who are providing facilities for a temporary office.

25th September 2007 - Our intrepid Financial Consultant, John Mitchell had a little altercation with Sefton Bourough Council's finest recycling experts this morning.
